Our Story

My Trustbasket began with a simple idea born not in a boardroom but in a university classroom. We are two friends – Saeed Iqbal and Sajjad Alam. Back in our 5th semester, we noticed a growing problem in online shopping across Pakistan – customers ordering products online only to receive something completely different from what was shown. Trust between buyers and sellers was fading, and it bothered us.

That's when Sajjad had an idea – why not build a platform that puts honesty before profit? His vision inspired us to create a store people could truly rely on.

In 2024, My Trustbasket officially came to life. We're still at the beginning of our journey, serving our very first customers, but every order brings us closer to our bigger dream – building a platform as trusted as Daraz or Amazon, with honesty at its core.

2021-2023

The Idea Takes Root

While studying together at university, Saeed Iqbal and Sajjad Alam noticed a growing problem in online shopping – customers frequently received products that didn't match what was advertised. This gap in trust planted the seed for what would eventually become My Trustbasket.
